Is it just me or does this profile of Cindy McCain portray her as the most pathetic, ineffectual woman ever? I really feel bad for her. I mean, John McCain is a known misogynist seems like an awful husband. (The story about him leaving his first wife — who stuck by him and endured a debilitating car crash while he was a POW — to marry the much younger, prettier, and richer Cindy, is kind of troubling.) There was even one unconfirmed report in Counterpunch of John beating her up. Poor woman.
It’d be funny if it wasn’t so sad.
